Bear
This is Bear. He's a yorkshire terrier. I wanted to give him
a mean name. I like to freak people out that don't know us. I'll have Bear in
another room. Then I'll call him to come to me. When he comes out, people just
laugh. They aren't expecting a yorkie to come to me. They think, it's
going to
be a pitt, doberman, german shepard, or some other big
dog.
Bear like the oscar is camera shy. I've taken over a hundred
pictures, just to get this one.
Bear did not come from the humane society.
I have a breeder,
that I use, when I don't go and get them from shelters.
If you are going to buy from a breeder, ask a few
questions.
Go by and see how they are set up. Most good breeders won't
mind you coming to their house.
Bear, came to us when he was 8 wks. old. He's really laid
back. Bear will play fetch with you. He'll bring, you his rope and drop
it at
your feet so you can get it and throw. He's smart, don't put it
behind your
back and just move your arm, like you threw it. He knows that
you didn't throw
it, so he doesn't run to get it. I play a game with him
called, Get Mad. When
he brings me his rope, some times before I get it
and throw for him I tell him
to get mad, so he growls and shakes it really
hard.
We had him trained to put his toy in a box at night, before
Two came along.
Bear would put up
the toys and Two would
take
them out. After awhile Bear quit putting them up. I don't blame him at
all. Lol.
Bear, is not a lap dog at all. He'll let you hold
him about 5 minutes and
that's enough for him. bear, will let everybody
pet him, very friendly. We also got Two when he was 8 wks old. They are so
different. It's amazing.
More about him next month though.
Just blows
me away, how you can have more than one animal or
kids, treat them the
same and yet they are so different.
Bear, weighs 8 lbs. now.
